Section 2
Creating Your Account
Finish account setup before you start comparing cars. That way, checkout takes minutes when you find a good option.
Required information
- Valid email address and phone number for account verification.
- A valid driver's license held for at least 1 year.
- A verified Rentify account with ID details when prompted.
- Visa or Mastercard credit/debit card for payment.
International renters
You may need an International Driving Permit (IDP) in addition to your home license, depending on your nationality. Contact support if you are unsure.
Section 3
Finding the Right Car
Build a shortlist with filters, then compare listings using the same checks each time.
- Price range and vehicle type
- Transmission and key features (GPS, child seat, Bluetooth)
- Pickup location, including airport delivery when available
- Host profile quality, ratings, and past reviews

Confirm the full price shown at checkout, including any selected options.

Enter required details
Add your contact info and driver's license details to complete booking setup.

Pay securely
Complete payment with Visa or Mastercard through Rentify's secure MAIB gateway.
- 5Confirmation
Get host confirmation
After approval, you receive pickup instructions and can message the host directly.
Many hosts offer weekly (7+ days) and monthly (30+ days) discounts. Check listing badges when you compare longer trips.
Section 5
Pickup Day
Use these checklists to keep handoff quick, clear, and documented.
Before you leave
- Confirm exact pickup time and location with the host.
- Bring your driver's license and booking confirmation.
- Keep your phone charged for host communication.
At handoff
- Walk around the car and note existing damage with photos.
- Confirm fuel type and any driving rules from the host.
- Save key contacts for the host and Rentify support.
Photograph the car condition at pickup, including fuel and visible exterior/interior condition. This helps prevent disputes later.

During Your Trip
Keep communication clear and act quickly if there is a problem.
Daily reminders
- Follow local traffic laws and drive responsibly.
- Use the correct fuel type and follow host rules.
- Do not allow unauthorized drivers.
- Keep important trip communication in Rentify chat.
If something goes wrong

Section 7
Returning the Car
A clean and on-time return protects both you and the next renter.
Return checklist
- Return on time or notify the host early if timing changes.
- Bring fuel level back to the agreed level.
- Remove personal items and leave the car clean.
- Complete a final walkthrough and return keys as agreed.
Late returns may result in additional charges. If timing changes, message your host as early as possible.
